It is hard to beat all-inclusive vacations in Hawaii when it comes to lying on a beach and having fun. Hawaii is a perfect setting for a lovely and refreshing break to help recharge the batteries.
Hawaii’s weather is fantastic all year round with gentle warm breezes a perfect change to the wintry conditions back home, and in summer you will enjoy an 85 degree sun cooled by the refreshing tradewinds blowing in from the ocean. It is never too cold and not too hot.
You could devote all your vacation on only the one particular island you like best, or take in the sights and sounds of all six. It’s your choice, and each island features its own attractions and natural beauty to suit every taste.
A lot of people make their first trip to Oahu in order to visit Honolulu and Waikiki beach. On the South shore of Oahu are Pearl Harbor and the historic USS Arizona Memorial, however there is considerably more to see and enjoy in Hawaii. While you can find flights to the outer Islands direct from the mainland, the majority of flights connect via the Hawaii International Airport on Oahu.
The island of Kauai is found north of Oahu. It is, geologically, the oldest of any of the Hawaiian Islands. There is much natural beauty to experience in this island. You can also find a number of opportunities for enchanting getaways and outdoor adventures.
Travel south from Oahu and you’ll find the island of Molokai. Molokai has a significant concentration of people of native Hawaiian descent, and they remain strongly linked to their remarkable culture and customs of the past.
If you’re searching to experience a secluded Hawaii vacation, Lanai would be the perfect destination for you. It has no traffic lights and it is the least densely populated of all of the islands. It is a great choice to enjoy a private romantic vacation, and Lanai also has two golf courses.
Maui is the second largest Hawaiian Island and features a number of the finest beaches anywhere in the world. Here you will also be able to view the many Humpback whales that visit Maui every winter.
The Big Island of Hawaii is definitely that – big. This island features more land area than all of the other islands put together. Of the thirteen climatic zones that exist in the world, eleven are found here. On the Big Island is an active volcano, black sand beaches and snow covered mountains.
In case you are not able to choose which of the islands to spend time on, see all of them by way of a Hawaii cruise. You’ll be able to set sail from Honolulu and enjoy a day and a half in each island. At night, you don’t have to worry about a hotel, because you will have a room onboard your luxury liner.
Should, however, you do want to spend nights on land, you’ll have no problem finding a place. There are a large number of hotel rooms to be found in Hawaii. Furthermore, there are many Hawaii vacation rentals throughout the Islands.
