If you are going to go to Mexico on a kid friendly vacation, where would you go? Inclusive or noninclusive?
ccd143 asked:
Any suggestion on where to go???? I really want a fun time to take my 13 & 12 year old boys

I always go on an all inclusive trip:
Kids normally don’t differentiate between a three star and a five star resort.
They will be happy with the freedom that they can have on the vacation
You can sit and relax – don’t even have to think.
You know how much you are spending on the vacation before you go.
Drawbacks are that
you have to pick a GOOD all inclusive.
You end up paying “double” every time you leave the resort to eat outside.
I am a single father and I always go to the all inclusive. The kids love it – and I don’t have to worry.
Go to Cancun / lots of activities and choices. Other choices are Ixtapa and Puerto Vallarta.
Have fun and buen viaje!

If you are set on a resort- all-inclusive is the way to go. It frees you from having to find a safe, convenient restaurant- 3 times a day or more! Also, although I love Mexico and spend about 4 months a year there, the prices have increased to the point that food and beverages will double your trip cost. But I would seriously suggest a condo- I own 2 in Puerto Vallarta that I rent out and business is booming. It is a great alternative to the hotel/resort. It gives you the flexibility to eat the cheaper meals in and go out for dinner. Also, the prices are usually better, and in our building, there is still maid service provided (no extra charge) 6 days a week so you aren’t missing out on services. As to where to go, it would partially depend on where you are coming from. I notice most people from the East Coast go to Cancun or Hualtuco. West Coast more to Vallarta or Ixtapa.

all inclusive vacations
Mexico used to be really inexpensive but….the they found out we were willing to pay the price. Cancun would be fun for the boys and an all inclusive would be the way to go…I don’t know where you would be flying from but…you can expect about 4 or 5 thousand for the three of you one week all inclusive. I just got back from PV yesterday and planning a month next year.

if you want something that is not expensive, i would say San Felipe, it is a small town in the state of Baja California, it has beautiful beaches, i would recomend playa de oro or playa los delfines. the bad thing is that they dont have an airport. i just thought it would be very nice to go there, specially in the summer, it gets very hot.
