Oahu! Went there for mine and it was unbelievable! Not very many kids around, especially downtown area. There are plenty of planners there to give you anything you want. We had ours in a park, nobody there, against the sunset. WOW! Went off in a limo to tour around town, then off to dinner. I won’t tell yo what we did next, lets just say she’ll never forget it! Take the honeymoon there and explore some of the other islands. You can’t go wrong!

Have you thought about Cabo, many of the hotels have co-ordinators that can arrange everything for you.

Have you thought about doing it on a cruise ship? I recently went on a cruise and before we left LA, there was a ceremony in the chapel. It was kind of cool because afterwards, the couple was already for the honeymoon cruise.

Really, the FIRST thing you should do is find a good travel agent, specifically one who specializes in honeymoon travel and destination weddings. Ask them if they personally go visit the resorts too, so you are absolutely sure about what to expect and don’t have any surprises! And keep looking until you find one that does personally visit the resort locations they are representing. The help of an experienced, knowledgeable travel agent would take a lot of the stress out of planning.

There are many resorts in Hawaii which would be perfect for your wedding. The best choice would be Oahu, where I would recommend either the Turtle Bay Resort, or the Ko Olina Resort. They are both all inclusive resorts, and are “kid friendly”. Both resorts are right on the beach, yet away from the hustle of Honoluolu.
Any of the Hawaiian islands would work, but the majority of the wedding planners and coordinators are on Oahu.
