A vacation to Hawaii may include seeing a number of the islands in the Hawaii archipelago. There is something well worth seeing in every one of the islands.

You will probably travel to Oahu on any Hawaii vacation, due to the fact it is the hub for almost all flights to and from the Islands. However, the island has a great deal to offer you, and Oahu happens to be the foremost tourist attraction with Waikiki Beach and Honolulu, the Hawaii state capitol. Here you will also be able to visit Pearl Harbor. Among the numerous famous attractions is the museum honoring the USS Arizona, exhibiting numerous artifacts pertaining to the 1941 attack.

Kauai is the most northerly island in the archipelago, and it is also the oldest of the islands in Hawaii. This is an enchanting island renowned for its natural beauty, and it is also great for an outdoor adventure getaway for tourists of any age. The famed Coconut Coast is located on the east side of the island, featuring marvelous sandy beaches which are a treat for sunbathing and relaxing, alternatively if you should drive to the west side of the island there is what is known as the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific’ – the Waimea Canyon. In close proximity is the Kokee State Park, a park of remarkable natural beauty offering a number of trails that can be followed to discover some of the rarest birds in Hawaii as well as plants that are found only in the rainforest.

South of Oahu is the island on Molokai, which is home to a sizable number of native Hawaiians who’ve remained closely connected to their heritage and traditional way of life.

Our next island in the chain is Lanai. This unique island doesn’t have even one traffic light and life is slower here than found on the other islands. On Lanai are found two very good golf courses.

Maui is the second largest island in Hawaii and has a number of the very best beaches anywhere in the world. Here you’ll have the chance to observe the Humpback whales which migrate to Maui every winter.

Unsurprisingly, the largest sized island in the Hawaii Islands is called the ‘Big Island’.
