Where is the best place to stay in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic?

I want to vacation in an all-inclusive resort in June. What is the best choice? And please be specific!

    Casa Marina Beach Resort

    or

    Casa Marina Reef Resort.

    They are both sister hotels connected together and are both all inclusive resorts in puertp plata

    I stayed there last summer with my friend and we both really enjoyed it!!!!

    Loads of free activities to do, good location, clean and tidy, lots of restaurants plus friendly staff and holiday makers.

    To correct Casa Marina is not in Puerto Plata but Sosua 30 km away from Puerto Plata. I would like to say that people who don’t know better not to answer this questions please!.
    Ok, there are a lot of good hotels in Puerto plata all depending on your budget. Like someone suggested Sun Village in Cofresi is not bad (4*) typic American guest hotel, you have the Riu’s (in Maimon) you have Hacienda Resorts in Cofresi, you Blue Bay in Playa Dorada (adults only) you have Iberostar and Coral in Costa Dorada and about 10 more in Playa Dorada… so the choice is yours, if you need more info after talking to your travel agent, just let me know.

    The Casa Marina beach Reef is nice and less than 400 bucks all inclusive with air out of Toronto in June. Theres a ton of hotels to choose from but there is reviews also to help you decide.

    If you want luxury and you are not a tacano, Hacienda and Sunvillage in Cafressi are good choices . However, Playa dorada has the widest range of accomodations to fit all tastes and budgets . Check the Dominican Republic.com site and go to puerta plata . there you should find a complete listing of resorts . But, if your among the adventurous who wants a little more than a dominican version of Bobs big boy buffets where you can eat all the soggy greasy fries you can fit while never having to leave the resort, try Casa MARINA in Sosua . Though little more than the 2.5 star experience as far as all incs go, it puts you in the middle of all the action for a small price . Not only will you experience one of the only authentic tastes of dominican beach life and culture, Sosuas nite life is off the map and your only 20 minutes from caberete and puerta plata if you want to venture out .
